Construction craft laborer
LIUNA members have access to the best continuing education program in North America. LIUNA training includes more than 50 different courses, opening the door to new opportunity and advancement; providing valuable learning skills such as hazardous materials remediation, remote tunnels, concrete work, and a wide range of other building construction skills. Training helps employers compete with higher productivity and quality, and helps workers earn more and work more safely.
Southeast Laborers’ Training Fund has implemented Apprenticeship for new members. An Apprentice can complete the program in two years by completing 144 hours of training each year along with a total 4,000 hours of on the job experience; providing contractors safe and skilled workers, such as:
Concrete workers
Demolition workers skilled in air tools and cutting and burning techniques
Trained power plant and outage workers
Scaffold workers
Pipeline workers
